DC cooling fans have many power plugs. You must understand the functions of these and make a reasonable design and connection before these functions can be fully utilized. Today's editor and everyone introduced the theme: "How are the colored wires of the DC cooling fan wired?" The detailed information is as follows...
1. Connection of temperature measurement signal. Generally speaking, the temperature signal uses a thermistor as a temperature sensor for temperature sampling. Take the cooling fan as an example. The temperature change causes the resistance of the thermistor to change, so the input signal has no polarity.
Just place the thermistor between the CPU and the heat sink, then unplug the jumper of the light yellow power cord on the cooling fan, connect the light yellow power cord of the DC cooling fan to the power plug, and the connection of the temperature measurement power cord is complete. .
2. Connect the power cord of the governor. The manual speed governor is actually a variable resistor. When the resistance is adjusted to a lower value (or short-circuited with a jumper), the speed of the cooling fan is lower, and when the resistance is larger (or the jumper is removed) the cooling fan runs at full speed. There are two speed regulators in the accessories of the cooling fan, one of which can be used according to the situation.
The DC cooling fan can be assembled in the position of the 3.5" floppy drive on the front panel of the main chassis, or in the slot position on the back of the mainframe. Then connect the power plug to the red wire socket of the DC cooling fan.
